How do I apply?
When applications open you will need to read all the detail in the Application Form. Record your audition application clip, complete your application online OR download an application form and send it to Retail Trust, Marshall Hall, Marshall Estate, Hammers Lane, London, NW7 4DQ. Should you be successful and be invited to audition at one of the four locations across the UK, we will notify you. Don’t forget to include your YouTube clip showcasing your talent!

A fine team of experts leading the way in the entertainment industry will be responsible for selecting the talent at the Auditions Roadshow. Keep an eye on our judges page to find out who will help us decide.

How do I create a YouTube account?
It’s free and easy to become a member of YouTube. Go to the "Signup" page, choose a username and password and enter your information. Then click the "Sign Up" button and you're done!
How do I upload my performance clip onto YouTube?
You'll need to get hold of a camcorder, digital camera or a mobile phone! Once you’ve filmed your performance you need to copy the films to your computer and then you can upload them as they are. You don’t get extra points for making a fancy video, so keep it simple. For more help on how to use your YouTube account check this out
Do I have to send a YouTube link?
Nope. You can record your clip on to a device that you can send into us at Retail Trust, Marshall Hall, Marshall Estate, Hammers Lane, London, NW7 4DQ. This could include a CD, DVD, MP3 player, USB, etc. If you want it returned then you best send a self addressed paid envelope.
Will I get my expenses paid for if I make it through to the Auditions Roadshow?
Unfortunately as a charity we cannot afford to pay for any travel costs incurred to get to the Auditions or the TOP 50 (if successful). But, if you make it through to the Live Grand Final, you will win an exclusive trip to London along with some other fab prizes!
Will I get to meet a celebrity?
A number of celebrities will be taking part in Retail Trust Search For A Star at various stages and locations throughout the competition, so it’s possible you might meet a celeb or two but not guaranteed.
Will I be filmed on camera?
Yes, if you make it through to the TOP 50, your act will be filmed and your recorded clip will be uploaded to the www.retailtrustsearchforastar.com website where you will face the public vote.
What age do you have to be to enter?
If you are under the age of 18, you will need your parent/guardian permission to enter the competition and you must be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian at the Auditions Roadshow.
I want to promote myself to friends, how can I do that?
A great way to promote yourself is through social networking! If you haven’t already, sign up to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and spread the word to your friends. Your friends can then spread the word to their friends and family.
